The K.S. Octave Foundation was created by former baseball players, Kedeem and Stephen Octave, to give all kids an opportunity to succeed in the game of baseball, regardless of financial background. Because of financial restraints, boys and girls have gravitated towards sports that require the less financial commitment, such as basketball and soccer. The K.S. Octave Foundation will help combat some of their challenges, while supporting those in need, and athletically helping to develop those that are not financially able.
From inception in September 2019, the Octave brothers have shared their love of baseball with deserving youth at their various training events and camps. Proceeds from these events help fund more opportunities for people that cannot otherwise afford it. Starting in 2021, the K.S. Octave Foundation will expand their giving as they award scholarships to deserving student-athletes with not only exemplary ability, but also the desire to achieve a higher level of learning.
