Julia Anderson was named Assistant Volleyball Coach at Columbia university prior to the 2019 season. Anderson transitioned to Columbia after spending two seasons as the First Assistant Coach at Fairfield from 2017-19. Anderson has also played a big part in the creation of the USA NY club, coaching there from 2014-present. During her time there she has had experience coaching on an international stage (2018 – 2019) she was the head coach as the club took part in the Global Challenge in Pula, Croatia. Before beginning her time as a coach, Anderson was a three-year letterwinner at Delaware, where she graduated from in 2017, and during her freshman season she earned a letter at Maryland before transferring to Delaware. Julia is passionate about giving back and serves as part of the foundations scholarship committee , internship committee and social media director.

I see nothing but big, bright, and shiny things to come for the K.S. Octave Foundation. Kedeem and Stephen have developed this organization into a place where kids can come and learn valuable skills, techniques, and all around growth in the game and life. This is knowledge that isn’t common amongst these communities, it is taught in a different way. It is high tech and high quality and most importantly it values the individual that they are focussing on rather then the result of a win or loss. They continue to grow to reach more and more people.
